Keeping in view the long histories of different religions of
the world, it is easily accomplished that all the sacred texts or holy
scriptures have special place in the lives of the followers of those religions.
Some of these Holy Scriptures are considered as an ultimate guide to introduce
law, theology and rendering wellness and strength to the characters of the
followers and some sacred texts might be accounts of historical figures of the
religions. As Muslims we believe only in four Holy Books i.e. Zabur, Tawrat,
Injil and the last one is Holy Quran. The first three Holy Books have gone
through numerous distortions subjected to the greediness of the religious
leaders of those religions but it doesn’t mean that we should renounce them,
rather as Muslims we respect these Holy Books and regard the Jews and
Christians as the “People of the Book” but we can’t follow their teachings as
they have been altered. The center of the teachings of the Islam is the Holy
Quran, sent down on our beloved Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (S.A.W.W.) within the
period of nearly 23 years, started from 610 CE.
We are indeed very fortunate to be born as Muslims and
followers of the Holy Quran, as the Holy Quran alone among all four Holy Books
has the honor of being revealed to the most beloved Prophet of Allah Almighty Hazrat
Mohammad (S.A.W.W.) and out of this love Allah Almighty promised to Hazrat
Mohammad (S.A.W.W.) for protecting the Holy Quran Himself. Therefore, the Holy
Quran is the 100% authentic, complete and reliable Holy Book that is in its
actual form and we as Muslims can blindly trust it as it is the last Word of
Allah and the greatest blessing for us. On the other hand, it is our religious
obligation to learn the Holy Quran with complete understanding and recite it
accurately i.e. Tajweed. As Allah
Almighty has commanded us to recite the Holy Quran with Tajweed: “Or a little
more; and recite the Quran in slow, measured rhythmic tones (73:4).” Our
beloved Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (S.A.W.W.) also emphasized the recitation of
the Holy Quran with Tajweed as he (S.A.W.W.) said “Without a doubt Allah wants
that the Holy Quran must be recited in the manner as it was told.”
To learn the Holy Quran with Tajweed is time demanding
process and mostly these skills are offered at the Quran Learning centers. But
many Muslims in this fast moving world are not able to manage time to go to
these centers on daily basis especially the ones belonging to the Shia Sect. As
being Shia Muslims out of respect and love for the Ahl-e-Bait, it is our
obligation to attend all the Majalis that are conducted narrating their
sacrifices for the revival of Islam and their greatness. We understand these
obligations and their importance; therefore, we are now offering the services
of learning the Quran through Shia QuranTeaching Online which are available for 24/7.
