On another occasion to emphasize the rewards of reciting the Holy Quran our beloved Prophet (S.A.W.W.) said, “Any Muslim who recites the Qur’an, studies it, and take actions in accordance with what it holds; on the Day of Judgment his parents will be wearing clothes with a circle of light, its brilliance is like that of the sun. And his parents will be ornamented with two trinkets, of which the entire world is not comparable to them in value. So they will wonder and ask, ‘Why are we being gilded with these?’ They will be told that, ‘This is for the reason that of your child taking the (recital, education and acting upon) the Qur’an” (Source: Hakim, Targhib wa Tarhib – Sahih).
